Big news. Two books. And … the future.

A very wise woman once told me that life is a game of Call & Response.

And in every moment, you have an opportunity to ask yourself –

“What calls to me — from the world, from my heart, and from God?”

If you had asked me that question three years ago, I would have said — in complete honesty —

“I don’t know. But I’m pretty sure it doesn’t include a cubicle.”

If you had asked me that question two years ago, I would have said –

“I think I know. And I’m pretty sure it involves working as a scribe … a soul stenographer … a storyteller.
Someone who can channel other people’s messages into words they can use, to move their missions forward.”

If you asked me that question today, I would say –

“I know — for now. And right now, I am called to serve the world as a writer & teacher.

I am called to mentor rising artists & entrepreneurs.

I am called to share everything I know about precise & powerful self-expression — in life, love & business.

I am called to be an icon of originality.

I am called to lead by example — by playing more than I work, by telling the truth, and by making good art. Every day.

I cannot wait to answer each new Call. Oh, I am READY!”

I got a book deal, y’all!

My first print book — 50 Ways To Say You’re AWESOME — will be released in Fall 2013, through Sourcebooks. Mark your calendar. It’s gonna be MEGA.

I’m also collaborating with Potter Style (a division of Random House | Crown Publishing) on another booky project.

My next weekend workshop will be Feb 8 – 10, 2013 in Alberta, Canada.

It’s going to be a glorious winter retreat, with snowflakes, yoga stretch breaks (!), spirited conversations and sumptuous wordsmithery.
