wow. thank you so much. i am struggling with my writing at the moment, or rather, finding clients. that’s some great advice, but especially it gave me new and very much needed determination. you’re such an inspiration *end cheesy admiration speech*

EMMY :: Happy to inspire. Love the cheese. Keep on trucking as only YOU can, and your ideal clients will arrive.

Perfection. & your hair is lookin’ FAB.

My biggest takeaway = self promotion by means of self expression. Brb, tattooing this on my brain folds.

you da best xo

CASS :: Self-promotion IS self-expression. Two sides of the same shiny coin.

Alex, I *love* you. Congratulations on one HECK of a first entrepreneur-averary – you are one truly wonderful wordsmith. (And I’ve mentioned it before but whoooa, what a VOICE!)

CORINNE :: I do enjoy the sound of my own voice. ;)

Keep Frock ‘n Rolling, sister!

First of all – congratulations with your entrepreneur-aversary! Yay…!
I have to say, since I discovered your blog about a week ago you have really inspired me to start working freelance. I think I can officially say I am your (friendly not creepy) stalker since I watched quite a few of your interviews, read your blog and twitter feed and poked around on your website. Right now I am working on getting mad skills in HTML and CSS, reading tips on freelancing, getting together a twitter account and website etc, so I can start my own brand/company…

Watching you blossom is a joy and an honor.

Getting to hear more of your story was pretty rockin’, too. (:

CARINA :: First off, your avatar is rocking my world. Secondly, I’m glad to be a source of inspiration. I love (friendly not creepy) stalkers!

PACE :: Aw, shucks. Happy to share. So happy to know you!

Congrats on your entrepreneur-aversary! My socks are rocked off and my soul is ablaze. I appreciate you sharing your lessons and experience so incredibly much!

JEN :: I aim to rock socks! Stockings, tights, and leggings, too!

Thanks for this! Learned a lot. Freckle? Brilliant. And so cool to put a real live vibe to your face and name. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to by next year – and in LA…And you soo do not sound like a “chain-smoking trucker” (- is that what you said?). Happy Entrepreneur-aversary

NIKI :: Haha! I don’t remember referring to myself as a “chain-smoking trucker” … I usually think I sound like a ten-year old boy. Or an elderly gentleman. I might have some slight audio-dysmorphia goin’ on. ;)

I am SO glad I came across this video – you effin’ ROCK girl!!! Happy anniversary mama!
And big-ups to a fellow RHH Live-r ~ woot!
I have a gut feeling that somehow, somewhere our paths are gonna cross…live. And that I’ll get to work with you and partake in your genius.
Way to rock your 1st year – congrats!!

STEPHANIE :: Paths often cross. We run in ever-smaller circles. I’ve been reading poetry (forgive me).

lol. “a chain-smoking ten year old” – that was it. You sounded just fine! Be well ;)

I love this celebration of life & business. The part that resonated with me is saying “no” to some opportunities. You are sooooo right about allow others to receive the blessing and creating space in your life to receive what you desire.

TAKEYAH :: Oh, Gawd! Saying no is so powerful. And so affirmative. Contradictory, no?

Alexandra Franzen on Apr 8, 2011 Reply

I am so incredibly late, but I wanted to hunker down and watch the video in its entirety – which I did with a glass of soy milk and a passionfruit cupcake. Back on topic, I think you are amazing, fantabulous, spectacular and you deserve to pop that champagne and then some. Congratulations, my dear pen pal, and here’s to many more years of your voltaic, earth-shattering awesomeness.

TARA :: I’ve been a very slacktastic pen pal of late. Gotta get back on the wagon … or is it “off” the wagon? I can never recall. Whichever one means “DOIN’ IT!”

Fabulous video! You are inspiring, both with your stories and your enthusiasm. I hope the move back to L.A. goes well. (And I watched it with some lemon sorbet, yummmm.)

Woot! Congrats lady!

Congrats Alex! (woo..gorgeous name).

You are THE honey for my days and without honey, I’m no one (and sleepy).
Thank you for you;)

Marta
